Advanced QA Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced QA Engineer I to design and implement robust automation frameworks for web, mobile and IoT applications. You will work within Bosch’s global engineering network, collaborating with development and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python for web, mobile and IoT platforms.
• Build modular, data‑driven test suites with PyTest, unittest or Robot Framework.
• Automate mobile testing with Appium across Android and iOS, including hybrid and webview scenarios.
• Create custom logging, HTML reports and dashboards to visualize test results.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and manage execution in staging and production environments.
• Perform API testing with Postman and REST Assured, and conduct performance testing using JMeter or Locust.
• Utilize cloud‑based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or AWS Device Farm for cross‑browser/device validation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of test failures, conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy and risk‑based planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based automation testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
