Backoffice Operations Specialist

About the role

The Backoffice Operations Specialist will ensure smooth payment processing by documenting, identifying, and resolving operational issues. The role requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external partners to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily payment processing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve client operational issues and maintain service quality.
• Support customer service teams with payment‑related inquiries.
• Create and maintain implementation documents and process flow diagrams.
• Work with colleagues to improve efficiency, reduce errors and streamline workflows.
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance and key metrics.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in financial services or payments, focusing on payment processing and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Residency in Mexico City with availability to attend the office three days per week.
