About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive growth by building and nurturing strategic partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands. This role focuses on expanding category selections to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively recruit and develop effective local partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands.
- Assist partners in establishing and scaling their presence on the platform, guiding market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operational strategies.
- Generate innovative ideas based on category performance and lead projects through resource integration and merchant guidance.
- Conduct industry analysis, explore customer needs through data analysis, and adjust strategies according to market trends.
Required profile
- 5+ years of operational experience, preferably in brand management or platform operations.
- Strong network of local sellers and vendors is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, self‑motivation, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics during high‑demand periods.
