About the role
The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that the organization obtains quality materials at the best possible cost. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support the company’s operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Source and select suppliers, negotiate contracts and purchase orders.
- Manage inventory levels and implement optimization strategies.
- Control costs through analysis, reporting and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Maintain supplier performance, address issues and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to communicate procurement needs and mitigate risks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using SQL for data analysis.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
