Country Driver Operations Team Leader – Mexico

About the role

We are looking for a Country Driver Operations Team Leader to oversee and optimise driver operations in Mexico. This role will balance driver supply with demand, build strategic partnerships and drive fleet‑related projects to support our growth as a super‑app.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee driver supply to maintain a healthy balance between demand and availability.
• Identify, build and manage strategic partnerships that improve driver engagement and retention.
• Lead fleet‑related projects, including expansion planning, operational optimisation and exclusivity programmes.
• Analyse driver app usage and performance to generate insights for product and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with HQ on local digital campaigns, acquisition strategies and incentive programmes.
• Design and implement initiatives to improve driver retention, streamline recruitment and enhance registration processes.
• Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to adjust local strategies proactively.
• Manage and mentor a direct report to ensure daily operational excellence and cross‑team collaboration.
• Leverage data to track key metrics and support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in operations or a business‑related role, preferably in ride‑hailing, mobility or logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
• Experience managing driver supply, fleet operations or partnerships.
• Proven ability to decompose complex business challenges, prioritise effectively and drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to present and influence at multiple levels.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Business development experience and a knack for identifying new opportunities within the ride‑hailing ecosystem.
