Crisis Communications Manager (AI & Incident Response)

About the role

This remote, hourly‑contract position leads the design and execution of crisis communication strategies for enterprises that rely on AI‑driven systems. You will work closely with AI training and operations teams to ensure clear, structured messaging during incidents and high‑uncertainty events.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement crisis communication frameworks tailored to AI‑enabled environments.
• Develop rubrics for incident classification, escalation, and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with AI training teams to align communication protocols with operational workflows.
• Evaluate model outputs, provide feedback, and improve structured reasoning and clarity.
• Advise senior leadership on crisis response planning and escalation strategies under uncertainty.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to integrate crisis protocols across HR, security, and communications.
• Produce clear written materials and deliver presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in crisis management, incident response, or business continuity planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to make decisive judgments under pressure and uncertainty.
• Experience creating and evaluating structured reasoning frameworks or rubrics.
• Familiarity with enterprise workflows across HR, security, and communications.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast‑paced environment.
