About the role
AFL Telecomunicaciones de México is seeking a Design Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Nuevo León. You will work under the supervision of a Product Engineer, handling design‑engineering tasks for new and existing part numbers.
Key responsibilities
- Execute setup and update activities for part numbers released within the OCA organization.
- Create and revise Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and 3D models of components and assemblies.
- Support prototype and pre‑production sample development based on inputs from Product Line Managers, Product Development Engineers, and NPI Engineers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Current residence in Mexico with willingness to relocate to Nuevo León.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
Required skills
- Parametric solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred).
- SolidWorks.
- ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
