DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join SAP's Global Cloud Operations team as a DevOps Engineer focused on cloud automation and optimization. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with colleagues across Germany, India and Mexico to enhance the reliability and efficiency of large‑scale cloud environments on Azure, AWS and GCP.

Key responsibilities

• Drive automated deployment pipelines for SAP solutions across customer landscapes.
• Design, build, and operate cloud optimization services from concept to production.
• Leverage APIs, telemetry and operational data to improve cloud reliability and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to proactive observability, AI‑driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Architect scalable, secure, high‑performance environments following best‑in‑class engineering practices.
• Provide hands‑on contributions to high‑quality cloud services and mentor team members.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud engineering/DevOps roles.
• Proven experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid background in designing and developing micro‑service architectures.
• Hands‑on experience automating software deployments using CI/CD principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, automation frameworks and cloud‑native services.
