Embedded Software Engineer II – Automotive Brake Systems

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded SW Engineer II to join Bosch’s automotive Active Safety team in Guadalajara. You will develop and maintain embedded software for brake systems, contributing to safety‑critical vehicle functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and validate embedded software for automotive brake systems following the V‑model and ASPICE standards.
• Perform requirements analysis, architectural design and produce technical documentation.
• Debug hardware, test vehicles and conduct systematic software testing and integration.
• Manage configuration, version control and static code analysis (QAC/MISRA).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required profile

• Intermediate understanding of automotive braking systems.
• 1‑2 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C programming and ability to debug electronic hardware.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in an intercultural environment.
