Field Engineer – Medical Device Service

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver installation, preventive maintenance, repair and modification of MedTech equipment for customers in Mexico City. The role supports both field and depot activities, ensuring equipment performance standards and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices at customer sites and in the service center.
• Register all service activities and maintain accurate physical and digital records.
• Handle complaints in line with regulatory and company processes.
• Plan service visits, coordinate parts and tools, and ensure timely closure of tasks.
• Collaborate with field service, sales, clinical teams and customers to improve service delivery.
• Provide written and verbal technical support and troubleshooting for Clinical Account Specialists.
• Manage assigned assets such as vehicle, tools, parts inventory and equipment according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Knowledge of and compliance with the Johnson & Johnson Credo.
• Familiarity with J&J Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental policies.
• Ability to follow local regulations, company policies, procedures and quality requirements.
• Experience maintaining complete and accurate service documentation.
