Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Executive to join our finance team within the IKEA franchise network. You will play a key role in preparing management reports, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and supporting the financial health of our business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports.
• Deliver financial reporting in line with internal policies, standards and regulations.
• Analyse financial data to evaluate company performance.
• Manage daily cash balances and ensure sufficient cash flow for operations.
• Maintain the accounts system.
• Supervise junior finance staff.
• Coordinate yearly tax filings, financial audits and reviews.
• Develop and enforce finance policies and procedures.
• Support ad‑hoc accounting projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a General Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
