Financial Analyst – CAPEX Management

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support capital investment planning and project spending oversight across our manufacturing operations in Piedras Negras. The role will focus on CAPEX management, financial evaluation of new investments, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Track and report capital expenditures, maintain the CAPEX database and communicate budget variances to department leaders.
• Validate project expenses, prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports, and collaborate with engineering, operations and procurement for accurate financial tracking.
• Conduct financial assessments of investment proposals using NPV, IRR and payback period analyses, build financial models and prepare executive summaries.
• Quantify the financial impact of cost‑reduction and efficiency projects, monitor actual versus projected savings.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and month‑end close activities related to CAPEX, ensuring compliance with internal controls and fixed‑asset reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA a plus).
• 2–5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with CAPEX processes and project financial evaluation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SAP (preferred).
