Information and Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Cyber Security Engineer will lead the monitoring and response to security incidents and events at Autoliv’s Queretaro Technical Center. You will work closely with IT teams and end‑users to investigate alerts, perform forensic activities, and eliminate threats, ensuring the safety of our automotive safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS and related data sources.
• Conduct detailed analysis and investigation of incidents, including forensic activities.
• Provide timely incident response and remediation.
• Monitor and respond to phishing and pharming attempts.
• Maintain accurate cybersecurity documentation.
• Troubleshoot service interruptions caused by security tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional experience in IT and incident response.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
