IT Support Technician – Level 2

About the role

The IT Support Technician‑2 will join Flex’s diversified manufacturing environment, providing hands‑on desktop and laptop support, peripheral installation, and asset management for end‑users. Reporting to the IT team lead, the role focuses on maintaining reliable PC hardware and software across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Configure corporate cellular phones for end‑users.
• Deploy software, patches, and updates on Windows and macOS devices.
• Maintain accurate physical and logical tracking of all PC assets.
• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot software failures and assist the Network Administrator with network‑related problems.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs.
• Create and manage imaging builds for desktop and laptop deployments.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related IT support experience.
• Working knowledge of PC architecture and Windows 10/11.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, macOS, Android, and iOS.
• Experience with imaging processes for PC deployment.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSA) is a plus.
