Junior Legal Compliance Officer (SOFOM)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City. It is designed for a recent law graduate with 2‑3 years of experience in a legal role within a SOFOM environment. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and ensure compliance with the CNBV and Condusef regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research related to fintech and SOFOM regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Manage compliance matters with CNBV and Condusef, including filing and reporting.
• Act as liaison with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor changes in local and international regulatory standards and advise internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience providing legal advice to fintech or SOFOM businesses.
• Demonstrated experience handling CNBV and Condusef compliance matters.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Ability to work on‑site in Mexico City.
