Junior Sales and Market Analyst

About the role

The Junior Sales and Market Analyst will support the commercial team by delivering market analysis, performance monitoring, pricing assistance, and billing validation. This position offers strong exposure to the electricity market and commercial strategy, working closely with finance and other internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Day Ahead (MDA) and Real Time (MTR) market prices, volumes, and trends, producing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Analyze energy sales contract performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, forecasts and dashboards to aid commercial decisions.
• Assist in preparing commercial proposals, PPAs, presentations and internal reports.
• Track market trends, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics, delivering analytical summaries.
• Review PPA invoices and validate billing calculations against contractual terms.
• Support payment processing to CFE and third parties, including documentation preparation and workflow follow‑up.
• Coordinate with Finance on system liquidations, guarantees, invoicing and operational data.
• Provide analytical support to Finance and M&A teams on revenues, costs and commercial risks.
• Assist with lenders reporting, financial covenants and compliance tracking.
• Help prepare and coordinate RFP processes, including data compilation and bid comparison.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Preferred certifications in energy markets, data analysis or finance.
• Exposure to electricity markets (MDA, MTR), PPAs or energy trading is a plus.
