Junior SDET (Remote)

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and apply your budding coding and testing skills to create automated tests for a variety of software applications. This remote position offers hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for multiple applications.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and log defects for developers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in test automation.
• Collaborate with developers to embed test automation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Maintain test environments, test data, and support CI/CD integration.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in software testing or development.
• Good understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit or TestNG.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Cypress or Java.
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience with version control (Git) and bug‑tracking systems.
• Advanced level of English.
