Legal Manager

About the role

Roche is seeking a Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support across commercial, labor, tax, regulatory, intellectual property and data‑privacy matters. You will work closely with business and functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks while supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on commercial, labor, tax, regulatory, IP and data‑privacy issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and distributors.
• Identify legal risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Support transactions, partnerships and strategic projects with legal input.
• Ensure company policies comply with local laws and represent Roche in legal proceedings.
• Oversee corporate governance and maintain legal documentation.

Required profile

• Law degree (specialization studies a plus).
• 3‑5 years experience as Senior Legal Counsel or Legal Manager in a transnational company.
• Strong expertise in data privacy, corporate housekeeping, employment law, contract drafting, IP and contract management.
• Excellent English communication skills (writing, speaking, listening).
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and uphold high ethical standards.
