Logistics Specialist – Ciudad del Carmen

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the movement of domestic and international goods from its Ciudad del Carmen location. The role supports efficient shipment processes while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑shipping instructions and collaborate with service providers for ocean, air, and land transport.
• Manage orders for cargo movement from origin to destination, keeping customers informed of progress.
• Maintain all shipping documentation and files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Gather and analyse service provider performance data to support short‑term business needs.
• Utilise logistics systems, including SAP, to record transactions, track measurements and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Pack, mark, label and measure cargo to provide accurate weight and dimensions.
• Assist Finance & Accounting with validation of rates and invoice charges.

Required profile

• Two‑year degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of logistics experience, preferably with knowledge of hazardous material movements.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• IATA/IMDG certification may be required depending on scope of work.
