Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Donaldson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive excellence in a fast‑paced industrial environment. You will focus on improving safety, quality, productivity and cost while supporting new product introductions and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality and safety.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction projects across production areas.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans and process flow diagrams.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting and corrective‑action implementation.
• Standardize processes and share best practices across operations.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, production and product engineering teams.
• Lead or support capital equipment and tooling projects, including installation, validation and start‑up.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with new product introduction, ensuring manufacturing readiness.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within an industrial setting.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to create manufacturing documentation (SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans).
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, assembly, machining, painting or automation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and English communication skills.
