Medical Information Agent

About the role

Join Novartis as an integral member of the Medical Information team, leveraging therapeutic and product expertise to support both internal and external stakeholders. You will work across functions to ensure accurate, timely medical information is delivered to healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver prompt responses to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs across multiple media formats.
• Develop, review, and maintain Medical Response Documents for the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with global MI colleagues, Medical Strategy Teams, and other cross‑functional partners to define strategies and execute tactics.
• Provide therapeutic area and product training to internal teams such as Medical Information, Compliance, and the Customer Interaction Center.
• Support internal process development, monitor metrics, generate reports, and present actionable insights.
• Assist with internal audits and external inspection readiness, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and Novartis guidelines.

Required profile

• PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience in medical writing, medical information, drug information, or related clinical roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
• Proven ability to analyze scientific literature and manage multiple projects within defined timelines.
