Operations Team Lead – Driver Operations (Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for a Country Driver Operations Team Leader to oversee driver supply and fleet management in Mexico. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will work closely with regional and HQ teams to balance demand, strengthen partnerships, and drive local business development.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage driver supply to maintain a healthy demand‑availability balance.
• Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships that improve driver engagement and retention.
• Lead fleet‑related projects, including expansion planning, operational optimisation, and exclusivity programmes.
• Analyse driver app usage and performance to generate insights for product and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with HQ on digital campaigns, acquisition strategies, and incentive programmes.
• Design and implement initiatives to boost driver retention, streamline recruitment, and improve registration processes.
• Track competitive activity and industry trends to adjust local strategies proactively.
• Mentor a direct report and ensure daily operational excellence across teams.
• Leverage data to monitor market performance, track key metrics, and support data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in operations or a business‑related role, preferably in ride‑hailing, mobility, or logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
• Proven experience managing driver supply, fleet operations, or partnerships.
• Ability to break down complex business challenges, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• SQL proficiency is a plus; advanced Excel skills are required.
• Business development experience within the ride‑hailing ecosystem.
