Print Quality Control (QC) Specialist

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a Print Quality Control (QC) specialist to ensure that all print and static assets are delivered error‑free, technically accurate and fully compliant with brand, localisation and production specifications. The role safeguards quality across high‑volume, multi‑market print deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate final print deliverables, including PDFs, packaging artwork, OOH, POS and press ads, against brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Run pre‑flight checks to confirm correct colour modes (CMYK, Pantone), image resolution, bleed, trim, slug, overprint settings and font embedding.
• Identify, log and communicate quality issues such as typos, misalignments, incorrect dielines, colour inconsistencies or missing assets.
• Cross‑check deliverables against approved master artwork, client briefs and localisation guidelines for each market.
• Verify that translated copy, legal lines, pricing and market‑specific elements are accurate and correctly placed.
• Ensure files meet printer/vendor specifications, including colour profiles, ink limits, trapping, separations and finishing requirements.
• Use proofing platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, online proofing tools) and standardized QC checklists to conduct thorough reviews.
• Collaborate closely with designers, artworkers, project managers and print vendors to resolve issues before release.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high‑volume, multi‑market print projects.
• Experience interpreting brand guidelines, technical specifications and localisation requirements.
