Production Operator – Category 2

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator (Category 2) to join Valeo’s manufacturing team. The role involves carrying out production operations on assigned workstations while ensuring quality, safety and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production tasks according to defined standards and report any anomalies.
• Clean and maintain machines and workstations; supply raw materials, packaging and tools.
• Conduct quality checks at machine entry and exit, isolate defective parts and open a QRAP report.
• Monitor production programs, ensure smooth operation and respect safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Participate in series changes, equipment adjustments, and parameterisation.
• Support 5S workplace organization and perform level‑1 maintenance.
• Attend daily/monthly meetings, training sessions and improvement projects.

• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and propose enhancements.
• Versatility to work across different tasks as defined by site criteria.
• Ability to support and train colleagues when required.

Required skills

• Machine operation on production lines.
• Quality inspection and defect handling.
• Equipment adjustment and parameterisation.
• Basic maintenance (level‑1).
• Use of QRAP reporting system.
• 5S workplace organization.
