Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support engineering and production processes, ensuring compliance with Vishay quality standards. The role involves establishing and maintaining quality control procedures across inbound, in‑process and laboratory testing, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes for inbound material, in‑process production, and laboratory testing.
• Manage non‑conformance complaints, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Perform on‑site production quality audits and inspections, and initiate immediate corrective measures when required.
• Evaluate production quality performance, generate reports and recommend effective improvement measures.
• Participate in quality meetings with production and plant management to align on quality objectives.
• Support engineers in the design, realization and implementation of processes and technical infrastructure.
• Document procedures, create training plans and provide local subject‑matter expertise as a key user.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with a focus on quality engineering.
• Proven ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and manage corrective actions.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to generate clear quality performance reports.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
