Regional Facilities Project Manager

About the role

The Regional Facilities Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest safety, security, and condition standards across Extra Space Storage’s portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee capital projects for more than 100 stores, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of capital projects ranging from $1,500 to $1 MM across 100+ locations.
• Maintain accurate project records and track budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing.
• Develop annual facilities budgets and five‑year forecasts.
• Inspect properties to verify safety, security, and facility standards.
• Select and supervise vendors and contractors, develop scopes of work, solicit bids, and close out projects.
• Provide safety and maintenance guidance to operations staff.
• Communicate regularly with leadership and store teams to resolve regional facility issues.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to support portfolio needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of multi‑site facilities or project management experience.
• Trade knowledge and a bachelor’s degree are strongly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with leadership and store staff.
