Regional Transportation Manager – Logistics & Operations (Baden-Württemberg)

About the role

The Regional Transportation Manager (OTR Manager) is the primary liaison between Amazon Logistics and Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) across Baden‑Württemberg. You will shape the medium‑term OTR strategy, align Amazon processes with DSP goals, and ensure capacity targets are met through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional OTR strategy, coordinating with the Middle Europe capacity team and Business Coaches.
• Own capacity planning and ramp plans, helping DSPs achieve their delivery targets.
• Identify early risks and develop contingency plans for peak periods and capacity shortages.
• Lead weekly business reviews (WBRs) as the OTR subject‑matter expert, driving performance improvements.
• Collaborate with OTR Safety, Customer Excellence, and Community teams to implement best practices.
• Travel regularly between sites (Freiburg, Neuenburg, Messkirch, Sindelfingen, Korntal‑Münchingen, Giengen, Mannheim) to support site leadership.

Required profile

• Senior experience in third‑party logistics, transportation, or operations management.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive results.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on capacity planning and risk mitigation.
