SharePoint Architecture Specialist

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a highly organized SharePoint Architecture Specialist to design, implement, and govern SharePoint Online information architecture within a Microsoft 365 enterprise environment. You will translate technical governance concepts into practical solutions that improve content organization, document management, and platform usability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain SharePoint Online information architecture, including folder taxonomy, metadata schemas, content types, and managed metadata structures.
• Define, document, and validate governance standards for content organization and document management.
• Create and maintain governance documentation such as Content Governance Guides and Information Architecture Design Documents.
• Develop Power Automate workflows for governance reporting, operational visibility, and notifications.
• Validate migrated libraries, ensure metadata consistency, and perform quality‑assurance activities.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, communicating architecture decisions and best practices.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience with SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on administration of SharePoint Online site collections and structured content environments.
• Proven ability to design and manage information architecture, governance structures, and metadata strategies.
• Strong written communication skills in professional English.
• Experience creating governance and architectural documentation.
