Site Nurse

About the role

The Site Nurse is responsible for delivering occupational health services within the plant, ensuring employee well‑being and compliance with safety policies. This role provides preventive medicine, first‑aid response, and health‑related administrative support to all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the plant’s occupational health program, including preventive medicine and health screenings.
• Provide first‑aid treatment, medication, and controlled‑substance dispensing to ill or injured employees.
• Transport injured personnel safely using professional judgment.
• Assist physicians with periodic and new‑hire medical examinations.
• Conduct drug‑screening programs and support first‑aid training sessions.
• Maintain accurate employee health records and generate required reports.
• Ensure compliance with SAA, OSHA, and monthly injury‑prevention audits.
• Achieve a minimum 80 % satisfaction score on service surveys.
• Maintain all required certifications and complete personal development and performance evaluations on schedule.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing or related health field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in occupational or industrial health.
• Ability to follow standard procedures and document health data accurately.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system and general PC usage.
