Site Project Manager

About the role

Givaudan is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead large‑scale manufacturing investments in Mexico. You will guide projects from business case and technical design through on‑site execution, ensuring alignment with company standards, sustainability goals, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to site vision and master‑plan design to support long‑term growth and capacity.
• Prepare business cases, design project plans and coordinate execution after sponsor approval.
• Manage capital projects and studies, defining scopes, cost estimates, specifications and ensuring compliance with EHS, norms and regulations.
• Set project execution parameters, including timing, detailed cost estimates and deliverables.
• Lead tender processes with suppliers and contractors, and apply project monitoring tools for cost and resource tracking.
• Produce design and process documentation, manage internal and external resources, and oversee contractor control on site.
• Run hazard studies, risk assessments and process optimisations, maintaining budgetary control.
• Support resource planning, contingency planning and regular reporting to senior management.

Required profile

• Experience in managing large‑scale industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, safety and environmental requirements.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external contractors.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience contributing to HR processes such as performance input for project team members.
