Software Developer – Autonomous Database Service

About the role

Oracle is seeking a passionate Software Developer to join the Autonomous Database service team. You will work on design, development, and automation of a private cloud database offering used by premier customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools and networks.
• Contribute to the Autonomous Database on Dedicated architecture service, including feature enablement and automation.
• Participate in day‑to‑day operations, software update automation and continuous improvement of the service.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on high‑visibility projects within Oracle’s development organization.

Required profile

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to work on complex, non‑routine tasks and mentor peers.

Required skills

• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated architecture.
