Software Engineer, CI and Release Advance Technologies

About the role

Google is looking for a Software Engineer to join the CI and Release Advanced Technologies team. The role focuses on building and scaling the infrastructure that powers software delivery across Google’s products, leveraging AI, LLMs and machine learning to improve release engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack tools for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release automation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models that optimize build pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Implement and evolve web APIs and developer platforms that support large‑scale software releases.
• Ensure accessibility, reliability, and security of release infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning across back‑end and front‑end components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience, including full‑stack work.
• Mexican citizenship as required by local labor regulations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Back‑end languages: Java, Python, Golang, C++.
• Front‑end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with web application frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and accessible technology development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, large language models, and their application to release engineering.
