Sort Center Assistant – QRO5

About the role

The Sort Center Assistant supports daily operations at Amazon’s QRO5 sort facility in Mexico. You will train associates on standardized processes, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and help maintain a fast‑paced, accurate sorting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train new and existing associates on Amazon’s standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Verify that all tasks are performed in compliance with established quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and communicate issues to supervisors for rapid resolution.
• Assist with inventory checks, labeling, and proper handling of parcels.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sorting accuracy and speed.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
• Comfortable standing or walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to work a 40‑hour week and overtime as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
