System Software Integration Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

Join NVIDIA’s cutting‑edge automotive team as a Systems/Software Integration Engineer. You will blend NVIDIA’s ADAS software stack with OEM applications, ensuring seamless operation of safety‑critical features from prototype fleets to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and optimise system software components for automotive applications.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines to streamline integration processes.
• Analyse issues, diagnose root causes and refine the product experience.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the US, APAC and Europe.
• Own the integration path for safety‑critical systems during scale‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2‑3 years experience as an ADAS software engineer at a Tier 1, OEM or equivalent.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site customer support (≈3 visits per year).
• Based near Munich, Germany or near Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Embedded systems development with C/C++.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Proficiency in Linux and QNX environments.
• Real‑time operating systems and ADAS sensor knowledge.
• Vehicle communication protocols: CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and Docker.
• Experience with System‑in‑the‑Loop and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop simulation tools.
