Technical Talent Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Talent Partner who can bring operator‑level credibility to technical recruiting. In this fully remote position you will partner directly with founders and senior technical leaders of high‑growth companies—from pre‑seed to pre‑IPO—to design and execute end‑to‑end hiring strategies for engineering and adjacent functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle technical searches across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, Security, and QA.
• Partner with founders and VP‑level leaders to define hiring criteria and move searches forward with urgency.
• Build and coach clients on structured, high‑signal interview processes, especially for first‑time hiring managers.
• Conduct deep talent mapping and competitive analysis to identify and reach top candidates.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies that go beyond inbound and referrals to create diverse, high‑quality pipelines.
• Screen and evaluate senior‑plus technical talent, distinguishing good from great candidates.
• Track pipeline health, pass‑through rates, and search progress, using data to optimize approaches and communicate results.
• Collaborate closely with PCT’s Technical Sourcers to align targeting strategy and ensure efficient search execution.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technical recruiting within product‑led or SaaS companies.
• Proven track record owning senior and staff‑level searches end‑to‑end.
• Experience hiring across Engineering and at least one adjacent technical function.
• Highly autonomous, able to prioritize multiple searches without hand‑holding.
• Maintains a high bar for talent and can articulate the difference between strong and exceptional candidates.
• Strong written communication skills for updates, candidate outreach, and founder briefings.
