Vice President, Quality

About the role

The Vice President of Quality will lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of the Quality Culture, Strategy & Performance for the beer division. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees quality across the entire value chain—from suppliers to consumers—ensuring product competitiveness in the US market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an assurance program to prevent recalls and severe quality incidents for liquids and packaging.
• Drive end‑to‑end quality performance across raw materials, brewing processes, laboratories, yeast management, packaging and distribution.
• Lead quality and risk‑based surveillance for new products and brand extensions in partnership with R&D.
• Oversee programs such as Consumer Care, Quality by Design, Profit of Quality, Food Safety systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, C‑TPAT, HACCP/TACCP/VACCP, FSMA), shelf‑life management and traceability.
• Manage two direct reports: Sr. Director, Manufacturing Quality and Sr. Director, Market/Distribution Quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemical or brewing science; Master’s in Quality and Productivity preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality, preferably within brewing/distilling and packaging.
• Proven people‑management track record with ability to build high‑performing teams.
• Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving capabilities.

• Brewing Science knowledge.
• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, C‑TPAT, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, FSMA).
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and critical thinking.
• Quality by Design (QbD) and Profit of Quality (PoQ) methodologies.
• Shelf‑life management and end‑to‑end traceability.
