Wire Harness Installation Design Engineer (H/F)

About the role

Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a Wire Harness Installation Design Engineer to develop and maintain wire harness physical designs and installations. You will work on 3D installation models, assembly models, and 2D formboard drawings, ensuring high‑quality, on‑schedule delivery for aerospace electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D wire harness installation and assembly models.
• Create and update 2D formboard drawings.
• Meet organizational expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance.
• Collaborate with customers to develop design solutions.
• Apply best practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Optimize designs for commonality, cost, weight, producibility, and maintainability.
• Implement design solutions and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Investigate and resolve design issues, providing timely solutions.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and adhere to safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
