French Elementary Teacher – Primary School

About the role

We are seeking a passionate French Elementary Teacher to join our primary school team. The successful candidate will create engaging French language lessons for young learners, fostering confidence and proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned French lessons for elementary students.
• Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Integrate educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff about student development.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, French, Languages, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license as required by the relevant education authority.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written French (native or near‑native preferred).
• Experience teaching French to elementary‑aged students is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and elementary education practices.
