Global Events Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

Tether is seeking a precision‑driven Global Events Financial Controller to act as the fiscal engine for its Global Events department. Working 100% remotely, you will own the full financial lifecycle of international events, from vendor quotation to final payment and annual budget reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate vendor quotations and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Develop, monitor, and report event budgets, providing real‑time financial clarity to the Events team.
• Manage contract signature processes and maintain proper documentation.
• Oversee invoicing and payment workflows across multiple currencies.
• Perform multi‑company and multi‑currency reconciliations.
• Prepare post‑event financial reports and analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the events, travel, or hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
