Legal Officer – Judicial Correspondence Management

About the role

The Legal Officer will be responsible for handling judicial correspondence and authority requests for Banamex, ensuring timely compliance with internal controls and regulatory obligations through precise legal analysis and operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and manage judicial letters and requests issued by courts and administrative authorities.
• Draft legal instructions, responses, and communications related to those requests.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of judicial and operational processes.
• Coordinate collection, validation, and integration of documentation with internal departments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date internal systems, controls, and case files.
• Identify risks, incidents, or potential non‑compliance and escalate promptly.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a bank or law firm.
• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state and federal laws and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
