Senior Manager – Fleet & Maintenance Accounting

About the role

Viva is seeking a Senior Manager to lead accounting for fleet activities and maintenance operations. You will ensure accurate cost recording, support budgeting, and provide financial reporting for line and heavy maintenance, aircraft redelivery, lease end, and owned aircraft accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting records related to fleet activities and maintenance operations.
• Analyze and record line maintenance and heavy maintenance costs.
• Analyze and record estimated aircraft redelivery and End‑of‑Lease (EOL) costs.
• Handle owned aircraft accounting entries and lease de‑componentisation under IFRS 16.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure timely and compliant financial data.
• Support budget preparation and produce regular financial reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years of aviation industry experience, specifically in fleet and maintenance accounting.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and aviation accounting standards.
