Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage supports the Head of F&B in leading all restaurant and bar operations at the resort in Porto Petro, Mallorca. This position ensures operational consistency, service quality, and financial performance across all outlets while acting as the primary continuity lead during the Head’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of F&B in overseeing daily restaurant and bar operations, monitoring performance indicators and driving corrective actions.
• Maintain brand standards, HACCP compliance, and safety procedures across all outlets.
• Provide operational leadership and communication continuity when the Head of F&B is unavailable.
• Support coaching, development and engagement of the F&B management team.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Rooms and other divisions to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Review financial and performance reports, help develop action plans to meet divisional targets, and follow up on cost‑efficiency and quality initiatives.
• Maintain a visible presence in outlets to monitor service quality, guest satisfaction and brand consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting senior F&B leadership in a multi‑outlet hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to monitor performance data and implement improvement actions.
• Excellent communication and team‑development skills.
• Capacity to act as operational lead during the Head of F&B’s absence.
