Cyber Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join BairesDev’s fully remote team. In this position you will protect our digital infrastructure, data, and AI‑driven platforms from evolving cyber threats while collaborating with a global community of top‑tier technologists.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard digital infrastructure and data.
• Continuously monitor systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activity and security incidents.
• Support the design and deployment of security controls that prevent unauthorized access and attacks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on security initiatives and incident response.
• Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical systems and data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity.
• Solid understanding of security controls and mitigation techniques.
• Hands‑on background monitoring systems, networks, or applications for security threats.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
