Lead Auditor Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Auditor for our Financial Services division to oversee internal audit activities across a global portfolio. The role ensures risk management, control, and governance processes are effective, supporting the organization’s objectives while safeguarding assets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit assignments as Lead Auditor, including developing audit work programs.
• Conduct interviews, sample testing, and walkthroughs to assess design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare clear audit reports and working papers, communicating findings to management.
• Assist in follow‑up of management action plans and contribute to the annual risk assessment and audit plan.
• Work independently and collaboratively, maintaining impartial relationships with auditees.
• Interact with all hierarchical levels and participate in special audit or non‑audit projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of experience in captive financial services, banking, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of banking, financial services, insurance operations, and relevant regulations.
• Fluent in English (both oral and written); additional language is a plus.
• Internal audit certifications (e.g., CIA, CISO, CRMA, CFE) are advantageous.
