About the role
KONE is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new equipment sales and solutions for its New Business Solutions (NBS) line in Mexico City. You will act as the business owner for frontline sales, using data‑driven techniques to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Manage complex development projects such as acquisitions, market entry, and geographic expansion.
- Support under‑performing segments and drive turnaround initiatives.
- Conduct large‑scale analysis, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure appropriate methodologies are applied.
- Perform competitive analysis through marketing and communications planning.
- Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, provide customer service, and manage customer accounts.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Business Development professional with a data‑analytics background in technology, real estate, data centre, consultancy or related fields.
- Proven ability to analyze markets and develop compelling offers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Salesforce.
