Buyer – Women’s Apparel & Accessories

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Buyer to manage product and inventory flow for the Women’s Apparel & Accessories category. The role blends strong communication, analytical, and creative abilities to drive profitability and support the seasonal product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Understand seasonal concepts, key investments, KPIs, lifespans and programs to execute product strategy.
• Measure product performance weekly and adjust buys accordingly.
• Execute purchases for multiple categories and specific accounts, ensuring full coverage of partner requests.
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely issuance and accurate product information in the system.
• Monitor open‑to‑buy, sell‑in, sell‑out, margin and inventory levels to meet monthly and yearly revenue goals.
• Track receipts, communicate delays to sales teams and follow up on client orders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date buying files and systems for visibility on product attributes, channels and shipping modes.
• Communicate product strategy to cross‑functional teams and collaborate with visual and marketing teams to boost sales.
• Assist in seasonal buying, providing feedback on pricing, assortment and visual presentation.
• Develop and enforce pricing strategies to achieve margin targets while remaining competitive.
• Visit stores regularly with buyers and sales teams to gather feedback on product performance.
• Negotiate and adapt business models with partners to maximize results.
