About the role
As a Commercial Sales Manager you will lead the negotiation of supply contracts for compressor unit trains across the LATAM region. You will prepare and present both budgetary and firm bids, working closely with Technical Sales, the Bid Management team and regional entities to meet client and tender requirements and bring contracts to signature.
Key responsibilities
- Create budgetary and firm bids in collaboration with sales and bidding teams and manage financial and commercial activities during the sales phase.
- Analyse tender requirements, define bid strategy and manage commercial risks such as currency exposure, payment terms, insurance, export control and compliance.
- Structure bids to satisfy customer and tax requirements, guide regional colleagues and ensure transparent calculations.
- Monitor financial results to optimise gross profit, cash flow and assets, meeting set targets.
- Lead negotiations of commercial terms, consortium contracts and coordinate with Legal, insurance, financing, VAT and customs departments.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in contract negotiation, tax regulations, financing, accounting and risk management (preferred).
- Understanding of IFRS, financial controlling and management accounting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and willingness to travel.
- Ability to translate risk exposure into financial, commercial or legal mitigation throughout the bidding phase.
