Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Site Escobedo

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will join Brembo’s Escobedo site to drive excellence across all departments through Lean and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives. The role focuses on cost deployment, shop‑floor management, people development, safety, and quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the loss prioritization matrix and lead Kaizen events aligned with plant needs.
• Standardize project documentation and tracking, expand 3D‑printing capabilities, and advance Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Manage the Employee Suggestion Program, Brembo Excellence Awards, and sustain 5S principles.
• Coordinate autonomous maintenance activities to reduce cleaning time and manage camera systems for root‑cause analysis.
• Spread WCM knowledge throughout the plant and increase the number of employees capable of leading projects.
• Support safety and environmental improvement initiatives and adhere to plant safety guidelines.
• Assist quality improvement projects and manage related documentation, including operator and tooling instructions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent experience; Master’s in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• 8+ years of operations or engineering experience.
• Project Management certification (PMP) and Lean Manufacturing background.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Strong communication, influencing, organizational, and results‑oriented skills with a candidate‑centric approach.
