Controller – Manufacturing Site

About the role

The manufacturing organization in Reynosa seeks an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and finance functions for its 500‑employee plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the site.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, business planning and performance improvement.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory controls, variance analysis and physical inventory processes.
• Handle maquiladora accounting, taxation, customs compliance and cross‑border financial transactions between Mexico and the US.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while driving process improvements and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Prior experience in a maquiladora environment with taxation, customs and cross‑border transactions.
