Data Analyst, Accounts Receivable Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Data Analyst to support the US Accounts Receivable Operations team from its Mexico City hub. The role focuses on modernising reporting, improving data quality and driving automation to enable operational excellence across the AR function.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with AR Operations teams to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.
• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, and manage ETL/ELT workflows to prepare and transform data from multiple sources within an AWS environment.
• Automate recurring reports, ensuring consistency, reliability and scalability.
• Act as a trusted resource for reporting queries, data validation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or reporting automation.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced English communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
